no. i applied on 10 October 2014. my ecas still shows in process. i wondered if we can receive test invitation and the ecas shows in process.

how usually applicants receive their test invitation and oath date by mail or email?

E-cas sometimes update and sometimes does not.

Test/Interview,Oath invites and other documents request (fingerprints, RQ etc) are always sent by regular mail regardless whether e-cas updates or not.

The last line in E-cas states that that my file has been transferred to my local office.

I have already passed my test and waiting for oath. My e-cas did not update with test/interview invite information. Same happened with few people in this forum as well.
However, for some people the e-cas updates with test/interview and oath information.

It seems to be that some part of e-cas is not getting updated for some people who have applied after Aug 2014. Applicants before Aug 2014 are getting proper updates on e-cas. This is what I have noticed in this forum by reading the posts/updates of other forum members.


By the way the online status will remain "In Process" until the person gets his/her oath done. Then it will show "Complete"
