I am a November applicant and no test yet and dec applicants are already getting test so I guess I missed the regular train and now it could be months before I get my test date

I checked my ecas today and got this!!!


We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on December 10, 2014.
We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on February 24, 2015.
We started processing your application on March 2, 2015.
We sent you a notice on July 27, 2015 to appear and write the citizenship test on August 12, 2015 at 8:25 AM. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us.


Would anyone share their experience on citizenship test? are there any parking nearby the office?

Congrats! One of my friends gave the test recently and he says there are lot of street parking where you have to insert dollar coins. 3 dollars for an hour. So you can put in 6 dollars for 2 hours and finish your test much before the expiry time.

I feel the same way. I've been waiting since February 2014 and NOTHING. I havent got any RQ, my application was perfect and I've been employed the whole time. I don't get it, why would they call people from December and leave people from February behind?

Congratulation DAX9890, Thanks for the update. Did your Ecas update when you got the test invite? Its so weird my Ecas never updated after the line that they started processing my file on May 8, 2014. I never received any update about the test invite too. The only update was the status changed from in process to Decision Made two days after I took my test on July 20.

My wife took her exam on May 28, 215 and still there is no oath invitation yet. She is working for last 5 years for same employer. Her time lines are

application sent: Jan 2014
Acknowledgement: Mar 2014
Exam invite: Apr 2015
Exam date: May 28, 2015
Oath date: STLL WAITING

Its probably on its way soon! Seems like all the December 2014 people receiving their test invites for August...
