Citizenship test results, Edmonton Office

We had a period of 8 months when my wife was absent from Canada. She was accompanying me (Canadian citizen) and stayed with me while I was on a 8 month work assignment outside Canada.

Do you know which part of your file they will be reviewing? I was also told the same thing, wait for 2-4 month as they will verify my entry dates in Canada (I had vacation 2x before I submitted my application). I noticed from some people here in the forum, if you do not have any issues at all with your application, the officer would give you the oath date.

I applied in April 2013 as well, and the last letter I got from them asking my identification cards and returning original documents in Jan. 2014 until now I didn't receive test invitation, mine is Edmonton office as well..

Applied in April 2013 and got RQ sent them the docs they asked but they are moving soooooooooo slow .
Is anybody from Edmonton who got RQ? Can you pls share?

I wonder why some applicants were given the oath dates right after the test and some were not The officer didnt mention any issue to you I assume...

That's right. Looks like some inconsistency.
My friends who wrote test up until Jan 22, were invited for the Oath on Mar 30. Our test was on Feb 05. There have been a few Oath ceremonies scheduled after Mar 30th, (Apr 07 and Apr 09) and no word for us yet as well.

Well I guess its our turn now.

Just found out from Call Center that we have been scheduled for Oath on Apr 30th at 8:15 am for the Oath in Edmonton. Here is the timeline

Applied Nov 25 2013
In process Feb 17 2014
Test Feb 05 2015
Oath Apr 30 2015

I was told the letter for invite was sent out yesterday. No updates in eCAS yet.

I just checked my ECAS and I'm scheduled for oath taking on April 30th.

Here's my final timeline:

Application submitted: January 3, 2014
Process started: March 3, 2014
Citizenship test: February 19, 2015
Oath taking: April 30, 2015

Thanks. I didn't do anything different, I was quite surprised myself. Sent my application beginning of June till now almost 10 months. Good luck all.
