Citizenship Test Issue

I was taking the Citizenship test today. When I was on the last question of the test (I had left the previous two questions for answering later) a pop-up related to the webcam appeared and I panicked and clicked cancel. I was kicked out of the test, I joined again. And mistakenly I spoke a few words with a family member. (It was not related to the test). I got 19/20.

Will my test be considered valid? I am too scared as the result will affect the application of my dependents as well.

Please guide.

Just FYI, Audio will not be recorded during the test, it will only be a few snapshots from your camera feed.

How the system will monitor you
Our system will use your webcam to take your photo at random times during the test. It will not record any audio or video.

We do this to

• make sure you complete the test by yourself
• confirm your identity
• monitor any unusual activities

To confirm your identity, we’ll compare the

• photo you took of yourself
• photos we randomly took while you completed the test
• photos you submitted in your citizenship application

Also your test whether you pass or fail should not have any impact on the dependents Citizenship application.
