Simply, it is not easy guys. You need to study hard for it. One page of the book could generate at least 10 questions.

We've been told not to be specific...
You're more than ready if you get 100% on those ! You've memorised the most important dates and people already.

Maybe you won't remember, say, the equivalent of the Stanley Cup for women, but 90% of the questions I got weren't into that level of detail.

Thank you for sharing your experience it's helpful. Most of the people repeating same sentence study book etc. Well we all know this already. We are asking your experience not asking for lecture. Thank you again..

That's normal.

We're specifically told before the exam not to give the questions to anyone and everyone in this forum will comply with the rule :)
Actually, even that Stanley Cup question I spoke about has nothing to do with my actual test :D

But yeah, that common advice is actually good, everything is in the book and there are no pitfalls.

Good luck !!

1812 war Canada vs. USA. Canada defeated US.

Also, British defeated the French in the Battle of the Plains of Abraham in 1759 i think. I remember visiting the site in Quebec City.

don’t be fool by people saying how easy the test is, according to official statistics I remember they said 30% fail rate after new test version was introduced. To me I find it is hard to remember the names, but got 15/20 and just barely passed on 1st attempt after learning by heart the whole study guide every word! During interview I heard a guy failed twice and had to see a citizenship judge! but he seems to be very weak in english

What was the Stanley Cup question:D

There were no date questions on my test. I found it very easy, the online practice tests were harder than the actual test.
IMO

If you study, it is easy. Read the book once or twice and take a few practice tests and you should be good

I took the test today. I find it easy and kind of disappointed with the amount of time I wasted studying. Lol.

The facts that I thought that were not important and did not memorize by heart were actually part of the questions.

And it’s true that the practice tests online are harder than the actual test.
