Hello everyone,
It's been a bit of an unusual situation, and I'm curious to know if anyone else has encountered something similar.
Typically, as I understand it, the normal process for Canadian citizenship applications involves a thorough background check before an invitation to write the citizenship test is extended. However, in my case, I received an invitation to write the test before my background check. The background check still in progress.
I'm a bit puzzled by this and wondering if it's a common occurrence or if it might be a sign of something specific. Has anyone else received their test invitation prior to their background check being finalized? And if so, did this have any implications for the later stages of the process, such as fingerprinting requirements?
I'd appreciate any insights or experiences you can share on this matter. It's essential for me to understand if this is a typical procedure or if there might be something unique about my application. Your input will be greatly valued.
Thank you in advance for your assistance and advice!
