Citizenship test done before everything..

Hi folks,

So I applied for citizenship in late 2020.. Nothing happened (no updates and nothing was completed) until I was invited in July 2022 to do the Citizenship test. I did the test and only the test was marked as completed.

My questions:
1. How come I was invited for a test before anything finishes? at least for the background verification.
2. I was requested to do fingerprinting Nov 16 2022, which I finished now.. How long is it going to take for anything next to happen?
3. After fingerprinting, what's the next step am I expecting?

1. Citizenship test is the easiest step for them so...
2. No one knows. It becomes non-routine if FP is requested I heard. FP is only valid for a year.
3. After test and FP, it should be either interview or residency I think.

Residency? or you mean the ceremony?

I was PR on the refugee program.. claimant > protected person > PR..

Residency requirement: 3 out of 5 years residency...
