Citizenship Test disconnected in the middle

Hey folks,
In a bit of a predicament here. Was wondering if anyone else had any experience with this.

So while giving the citizenship test my connection got disconnected at the end of the 18th question. I reconnected following the link that I for for the test, didn't change any answers, gave the answer to the last 2 questions and passed the test.

It has been 2 weeks and nothing has been updated on my account. My husband gave the test without any issues and his account got updated to citizenship test marked as completed the next day.

Any idea of what might happen next? I really am very worried right now. It was not my fault that the internet disconnected. Should I send them an email? I had taken a screenshot of the error message that appeared when the test got disconnected.

sorry, but I have a question regarding the test time window. Does the date I decide to take the test affect the assessing speed? Say, if I complete the test on the first day, will the application move faster than, if I take the test on the last day of the time period given? Thank you.

It doesn't matter. It's all the same. Even if you give it in the first day it can still take longer than if you give it on the last day and that got processed faster. It all depends on how many case files the Citizenship officer has on their table.

Hi there,
I had the same issue. I took the test 1 week after you (September 23th, 2022), and the same thing happened. I got disconnected, I quickly logged in and finished the test, and passed. I talked to IRCC officer today and they said they have sent the test information to the Vancouver office because there was an "unusual activity" during the test. The Vancouver office will review my information. Now, I need to wait for them and see what they say.
Do you have any updates on your application?
