Citizenship test and interview

Hi, a friend of mine went for his citizenship test in Mississauga office, after the test he waited outside and then he was called and the officer told him that you have scored 20/20, no need for interview, you will receive a letter by December or January, my friend is not sure if the officer was talking about oath letter or any other letter.

This is very strange because as far as I remember after the test citizenship officer takes the interview, checks documents, checks the passport and asks lots of questions.

Has anyone experienced the same thing, please suggest.

Yes happens sometime. If they have verified and nothing else to be checked they do not need to do an interview and just tell applicant to expect an oath letter which ur friend will

Wow, good for your friend! Can I ask has your friend a very straightforward application? Such as many days over 1095, and no or only US(?) travel in his passport? Also, what Citizenship do they currently hold?

I have only two free pages in my passport so am thinking I'll be having a significant document check. Assuming I pass the test, I haven't had to study for a test in over 10 years and my mock scores are 14-19 so far!

No it was not a straightforward application, he had extensive travel outside, actually he is 6 months out, 6 months in, in a year, and lots of US travel.
