Hello,
I had an interview for language evaluation at the immigration office , and the next day I got a letter by registered mail that my application was refused, everything was completed in my online profile, and only language was shown as in progress. The account now shows that the application is closed. I have provided my language proof with CLB 4. really appreciate any advices .Does anyone have any idea what my options are.
What is odd is that the letter arrived by registered mail the very next day. The only way it could be in response to the interview is if they sent it out before Canada Post's daily cut-off time and you are in the same city as the office. Registered mail usually slows down a mail item because of the extra checks involved at every step. If you want something delivered within one or two days, you have to go with Xpresspost or Priority.

Check the date of the letter and on the postage indicia.

They just wanted to confirm what they suspected and they confirmed, as I believe interview was already scheduled and they don't happen out of a blue. Secondly, it is your obligation to have the minimum knowledge of English or French as that is one of the requirements to apply for citizenship. Also, can you imagine if they give opportunity to everyone to improve the knowledge that applicant should have already? That is not doable at all. So sorry that you lost your money, but the application was at your own risk. Finally the letter can arrive the next day yes, there are express services for that.
