There shouldn't be any errors with the online calculator. Is your father claiming any pre PR time toward citizenship? How did he get PR?

through refugee statud

Are you counting pre PR time? If so, how much pre PR time are you counting towards citizenship? You can only count from the time your father because a protected person.

he came in september 2018 applied for refugee in november 2018 got approval in 2021 and may 2022 got his pr completed his 2 years as pr in 2024 may so he did complete his time but they sending it saying they cant verify it should i submit paper application then

Yes, you'll need to apply by paper.

When did he officially become a PR?
i think the issue is refugee time... they got accepted in 2021 as refugee. then the next year got pr in 2022. the year between refugee and pr the days only count as half a day. so they are less than 3 years in canada with status so probably can apply later this year or next year

i believe the calculator is correct. you dont have enough time. one day as a refugee is only counted as half a day. the year as refugee is only counts for 182.5 days not 365 days a whole year.

but it says you are eligible when i put info should i submit paper application
I dont know how you filled in calculator but your father is not eligible for Citizenship yet.... Since you did not include months, i can assume he will be eligible end of year..fast forward another 6months

if the info is fine and the same. both calculators should say it is good. you can do paper but like said before u have risk of your application being denied/return due to lack of days. but without the actual months to match years you told us. it seems more like what the online app said you don't have enough days which if you don't ircc will deny the app

your time line is june/july 2019 to now june/july 2024.. thats is the 5 year window.. your father made his claim in 2018 got approved 2021.

2021 coventional refugee -2022 PR less than a year maybe 6 months maybe less is being counted to the 3 year (1095 days)
2022-2024 maybe 2 years....

you need 3 years as PR OR Minimum 2 YEARS as PR with 1 year worth of refugee days (2 years in total as 1 refugee day only only count as half a day). And your dad wasn't a refugee for 2 year it was 1. clearly you do not have the 1095 days needed to apply .

but even without the accourate months it appears you likely have 2.5 not the 3 years, give and take couple months.

You are right. I misread the dates.
