Does anyone have a sense of how the test day interviews with citizenship officers are going now that they have the authority to grant citizenship on their own? This seems like it raises the stake of the interview on test day. Has anyone ever been represented by counsel at the test day interview?

There are no citizenship judges anymore for new applications, now officers and there supervisors approve the application ,also officers decide whether to give RQ or not.You are not allowed to be represented by anyone unless you are over 55 years old, it will be above 65 years old in the new law C-24
