Hi all,
I sent my Citizenship application on 12th October, 2017
I received my Test date through email , but haven't received it through mail yet.
On my online account it shows: it was mailed on 5th Jan, 2018
Also another line shows up that a correspondence was sent on 12th Jan, 2018
Is this fingerprints correspondence?
Do I get an email for the fingerprints as well or CIC just mails it out?

Please help if anyone is going through the same scenario or if anyone knows anything.
Thank you!

Read the forums bro... many times this has been directed already, no need to make new threats everytime your app moves a little, pretty much everything is covered

Here is my information:

Application Sent: 13 October 2017
AOR: 30 November 2017
In process: 10 Jan 2018,

Application sent from Ottawa.

I haven't received any test invite or test date online. My question: Should I be able to see if a test invite letter was sent to me if I login to cic account? will you also get an email?

Thanks
Foad

You should be receiving email or letter for the test but also be able to view if you log in to ecas to view your status.

Updated.

I have a citizenship interview and have a question regarding the docuemnts to take with me on the test date: I have sent a copy of my IELTS results which I took for PR on 2014, but don't have the original. Do I have to take my original IELTS results to the interview? It is mentioned that the copy is accepted to send, but it also says you have to bring originals with you and I'm confused.

Most applicants who have taken the test already reported that they weren't asked to present their original IELTS, however on some rare occasions, some were. It is within their rights to ask for it. That being said, as I've mentioned earlier, if you converse properly, they probably wouldn't bother. If you have any other original proofs like degrees, transcripts, certificates, I would suggest that you take them along, in the off chance that they do want to see some proof.
