This might seem like a slightly obvious question so please excuse if its the case.
I am currently in the US and my Canadian citizenship application has been processed. My oath is scheduled for the 30th of March.
I suppose the invitation email for the ceremony should arrive in the next 7-10 days. Should be in Canada at the time of the receipt of the invitation because that’s what the CIC website says. Otherwise we have to reply back to them with subject line “outside Canada” and explain our situation.
I do plan to go to Toronto on the 30th for the oath (I know mostly likely it will be a video oath and I will do it from Toronto).
Given that I plan to go to Toronto should I reply back to invitation email when I receive it saying I am outside Canada and tell them that I plan to be there or should I directly land there and attend it.
I know it’s kind of common sense but given that this is the final step I am trying to make sure it goes smoothly.
I also want to check that I have my PR card, Health Card and Stamped passport but I am unable to find my COPR. Would these three documents be sufficient for the ceremony ?
