Hi Everyone,

At first, I want to share my citizenship time line here but it has been 6 weeks passed yet but someone may need this :
May-8th-2018 (Package sent)
May-11th-2018 (CIC arrived)
June-27th-2018 AOR email arrived......

Today, I got AOR since I sent citizenship package to CIC 6 weeks ago.
AOR came to me by Email, it was perfect and very convenient and maybe soon or later I will get notified Interview & test date by Email like others got.( Right??) So I am not worried if I don't get a mail from CIC physically until interview & test. BUT,

I heard CIC only notify by MAIL to candidates about Oath dates & location, ( Is that true ?)
I will not be in Canada after interview/test so I am getting worried to miss that physical letter about oath date & location information,

Is there anyone have an idea how to know about oath date & location information if I can't get the physical letter like web site etc.

Many thanks in advance.

Not true. I received mine via email, as did many others. Depends on your notification preferences and the office. If you received AoR via email, it's likely you'll receive the oath invite the same way.

Mine was total mix.

AOR by email
Test invite by email
Oath invite by regular post
FP request by regular post

Mine was always email however when you read other posts you will see its mix even though they have checked email preference.

My recommendation is to setup Canada Post mail redirect service for few months to one of your close friend or relatives address while you are away so that they will update you about all your received mails. Often check you ecas to see if test notification has been sent or not...

Good luck!!

email today for me as well.

Test invite and Oath invite both by email only in my case.
