I actually, finally, & at very long agonising last, ultimately completed my 3yrs yesterday (yippee!) & I will have my 183 days for 2017 in a couple of weeks' time. I gave notice at my grunt survival job here yesterday, & am heading down to the US to have my fingerprints done for my US police/FBI check in 2wks. When I did fingerprints in the US for my PR 3yrs ago, the first set were returned by the FBI as unusable, humiliating the local regular officer who took them for me, & we had to re-do them and send the application off to the FBI for a second time; so now I'll make sure to ask the US police officer if s/he's familiar with taking FBI-acceptable quality fingerprints, after that unnecessary & frustrating delay a few years ago due to unfamiliarity/incompetence. Also, I'll be sending all of my citizenship documents (including the FBI report) to CIC in one single trackable (to be signed for) package this time around, after CIC sent me a rude note 4yrs ago demanding my FBI police report within 30 days or else they'd terminate my PR application, after they said they couldn't find the one that I'd sent them separately; only after I called & e-mailed profusely to implore them to go look for it did the bureaucrat finally get off his/her tail to go find it, which they did, but without any apology forthcoming from them. So I now picture exceedingly lazy and apparently unaccountable bureaucrats at CIC, & will be making my citizenship application as altogether & straightforward for him/her as possible, so that it won't have to exert itself too much, hehe. Do we still have to comply with the 183 days physical presence rule until full implementation of C-6? Do photocopies of university degrees, etc., have to be officially notarised as true copies?

No need for 183 days in new bill and no need for notarised.
