I've heard rumors that this right now causes further delays in ON because a lot cases are looked at and verified a second time...
Maybe that's the case for us since we didn't hear anything from CIC since we took test March 1st...

The judges are political appointees and do not need any expertise in immigration law or judicial experience.

With that, whatever party is in charge can bend and twist law(s) to their favor, e.g. securing voters. With a majority of the population rather not wanting to see more immigrants this becomes a questionable practice.

The Conservatives are at it again.....

Waaaayy too much to pay someone who has never practiced law. They should receive a $20000/year honorarium. They do no administrative work. They make no real decisions. They are appointed and should occupy that position for no more than 5 years.
