Citizenship interview

Hi All,

I have recently received a request to attend an in-person interview for my citizenship application.
I freaked out and went through all my documents again just to make sure everything is in order.
After reviewing i found that i forgot to mention that i have extended my work permit ( this didn'taffect my physical presence calculator as i stayed here quite a bit )
I am actually in my home country while i received it and i completely forgot about it and i got my PR confirmation before the extended work permit issuance.
Basically my immigration lawyer applied for extended work permit when my first permit expired but then after a month i got my pr application approval then i left to my home country and landed after 4 months, but while i was in my home country looks like they sent me extended work permit but i didnt even check mymail.
Are they going to reject my application in the interview based on that

Doesn't look like. It's more of document verification process and sometimes language verification. Dont worry its a normal thing.

Just make sure you read your application on what you said to be sure you are providing consistent information (of course to speak up truth you don't need any practice)

If you have US Travel history make sure taking a print out of I-94 (i did it and they told me they are waiting for US entry/exit records and were very happy when i shared the document to cut down any wait time). my application had LPP marked as complete same day.

Rest its all ID verification and seeing your passport again.

I will do that l- yes I have the I-94. I will take that with me

hope all goes well but definitely this saved some time in my application as officer took note of it and uploaded it to my application and we had all stages cleared in one day

everything went well LPP updated the same day. Waiting for oath ceremony invite, hope it'll be soon
