Hi All

I was primary applicant on my PR and came to Canada in August 2009 and was out of Canada for 34 days(maintaining purchased property in that duration).
Now I need to leave to US as I need to join my employer who sponsored my Green card and it must happen before I complete my citizenship time Sept end 2102 and Oct end 2012 for my wife).
My wife is also dependent on US green Card.I must stay and work in US , but can my wife come back after doing landing and complete her citizenship time, apply and come back finally to US? She is dependent on both applications. Will there be any issues on either side of border?

Also my home is not sold yet, is that a concern(Its on sale)?DO I have to have acquire non resident status or I can wait till year end?

Appreciate your help!Thanks!

With Canadian PR, once you have landed, your wife's PR is just as valid as your PR so if she wants to apply for citizenship, she can complete the days required and apply without you.

One more question:

Can my out of country 34 days be counted towards citizenship since I was/am owning my home at that time.
I read it somewhere.

Thanks!

No. Out of country days can not count for citizenship unless possibly if you are working for the Canada government, for example military.
