Citizenship certificate - Winnipeg office

Just had oath ceremony today. @ 2 pm EST with MB SK office.

It took almost 1 hr 40 mins for the whole proess, very fast.

Since my expedited dispatch of citizenship certificate was already approved so registration clerk informed me of it too...

Sent the affirmation of citizenship form soon after 10 mins from the oath ceremony end time.

Hope citizenship certificate arrive soon now and tracking details of xpresspost from canada post is shared by MB SK office which they said, they will share once its shipped. They asked me to contact back on Friday if i did not get the tracking details by then.

Just spoke to IRCC contact centre and got the tracking details of the package which IRCC is sending. Even though, my request was for Urgent Dispatch, and my online application did completed on Tue December 20 after oath on Mon December 19. The tracking number for xpresspost which is shared, it says that electronic information submitted by shipper on Fri December 23.

So, i am guessing it may have been actually dispatched on December 23 or may get dispatched today from their winnipeg office.

I am surprised, where people from different offices, if their expedited dispatch request got approved, there certificates got dispatched on the very next day. But here, winnipeg office seems to be a bit slow in this part.

So, i am guessing it may have been actually dispatched on December 23 or may get dispatched today from their winnipeg office.

I am surprised, where people from different offices, if their expedited dispatch request got approved, there certificates got dispatched on the very next day. But here, winnipeg office seems to be a bit slow in this part.

Yikes...perhaps they're slower due to the holidays? Or not feeling like working...It would be kind of ridiculous if you end up getting the certificate 2 weeks after oath, which is only a bit quicker compared to others.
