Hi everyone,
I hope you're all doing well.
I'm new to this forum and I need some details about the process for applying for Canadian citizenship for my newborn baby born in India.
Both parents were born in India and became Canadian citizens before the baby was born.
The baby was born in India and currently in India.
We only have one proof so far, which is the birth certificate provided by the Government of India.
Can I apply online or through paper? What other documents are required for submitting the certificate for my baby?
Is my understanding correct:
Apply for citizenship certificate --> Passport --> Exit visa from India.
If anyone has experience with this, please share it in this forum.
Thanks
