There is no such thing as "Citizenship Certificate Application". I think you mean Proof of Citizenship application?

Thanks, this is the mandatory document to be applied as soon as the Oath cermony is completed and for applying Canadian passport, is my understanding correct?

No. You don't have to apply for a citizenship certificate after the oath ceremony. They will automatically send it to your address.

After oath, you wait for certificate in the mail
When you receive that certificate, use that to apply passport

You do not need to apply for certificate, it will be sent after oath to you as final step of the process
