If the top still says "In Progress", they haven't mailed your certificate.

It's been 7 weeks, and the maximum time from Oath ceremony to certificate in hand is supposed to be 4-6 weeks. I would suggest contacting Edmonton office, Citizenship Ceremony office, and filling out the webform as well. You may need to contact your MP. (If you need those email addresses, please contact me via direct message.)

They've had a month since the Christmas season to process certificates. It's unreasonable to make people wait so long. But it's par for Edmonton office.

Where? At the end before the Citizenship Judge or Foreign Service Officer signature where it says "at:"? It shows the name of my city: MONTREAL, QUEBEC, CANADA
Thanks
The Oath of Citizenship was taken (or subscribed) before a
Citizenship Judge or Foreign Service Officer.

Mine showed “Closed” the day after my Oath (Jan 25th) and I’m still waiting for the certificate. I don’t believe they necessarily or automatically mail out the certificates once they update the status to “Closed” tbh

Hi Guys,
Regarding status, everything is complete except Oath. I have not received Oath Ceremony email yet. Do you think changing the address will cause my application to shift to different office? or cause delay? I was thinking to change the address after the Oath ceremony. What do you guys think?
Unless it is violating a guideline, I wouldn’t change anything on the application. No idea how this impacts processing. I wouldn’t want to take any chances.
What are your timelines like?

have you also kept checking on ECAS and when it turned into “”complete” ?

Then it's probably with Canada Post, and there's no guarantee it'll get to you within a week or two.

Mail from downtown Edmonton to Sherwood Park often takes 10 days, or more...

I actually don’t have access to ECAS, most online applicants don’t. But the online tracker shows “Closed” “Reason - We’ve approved your application to become a Canadian Citizen”

i See….mine was paper application…

Turned into “closed” and into “complete” today (2 x days after Oath)

let’s see when it will arrive from and within Calgary.

Yes, please keep us updated. I’m a Calgary applicant, but my test invitation was from Winnipeg and I also took the Oath with a Winnipeg presiding official. So I’m assuming my certificate will be dispatched from there rather than Calgary!

It’s always one thing or the other with these people. It makes zero sense to mail out such sensitive and important document with regular mail.

We pay exorbitant fees for processing and citizenship app fees, I’m very sure they can afford to spend $20 (maybe not even) to mail each applicant’s document with express delivery with signature smh

Almost the same here - Oath document was labelled as Winnipeg - but I had a Calgary official. Edmonton applicant.

I wish IRCC was more forthcoming with how all this worked.
