Citizenship Certificate After Oath

Called IRCC today - the agent says they received my signed Oath form only on 26th November which is news to me. I emailed the form the same day of my Oath on November 9th. The agent also said that they haven't mailed the certificate yet - they plan to mail it in few weeks. Frustrating dealing with IRCC.

Oh gosh! I'm dishearten today, I made calls to IRCC with no luck, they've no courtesy to reply to emails and my mailbox is still without citizenship certificate.

I thought I came to developed country few years ago and actually found this is no better world in services. Our government cares what is happening outside Canada and not at their home.

Here, we are in queues every time (be it passport, drivers license, medical system appointment and IRCC etc) and keep waiting for services.

Its over 4 weeks and 2 days. No sign of having citizenship certificate in mailbox.

I am telling myself in just about few months i will forget “everything” and have highest freedom one can possibly have with many doors open. And i said few months because i have yet to apply for passport and no sign of certificates yet LOL!!!

Which office conducted your ceremony?
I am on the same boat. Mine was Scarborough on Nov 15th. I've just got tracker last update Nov 24th, and oath ceremony completed Nov 15th under history.
I think our tracker application status will transition to "closed" today or tomorrow, and it means they're shipping the certificate out today or tomorrow only.

Tracker application status closed: Nov 29th
Certificate received: Nov 30th (postage stamped Nov 25th).

Like dark brown envelope? What is mentioned on envelope ? I think my got lost somewhere. Didn’t ever imagined i have to suffer this much was it Canada post envelope ?

Finally got the citizenship certificate. All the to you all. Oath was November 17, application closed November 24, certificate in mail November 30 from
Mississauga office which is the place I sent my oath form to. Sincerely wishing you all the best of luck. This has been stressful. I’m not complaining though. Thank you Canada.
