April 19th oath at Niagara Falls (from Ottawa), got the certificate yesterday (April 29). Case was closed in the online tracker on April 25th.
Anyone know of a thread about in person passport applications? What I read in the news is that the wait line are impossible and I want to plan ahead of time....

Did you send the form on same day as i am trying to see why they took days to close it.
Trying to estimate when my wife will get the certificate hence asking.

Hi All,
So initially I had my oath scheduled for Feb 8th 2022 but I replied back to the email I received saying to reschedule as I was out of the country. IRCC scarborough replied that Please email us when you are back in Canada and we will reschedule. I then e-mailed on March 31 to reschedule, anticipating a date 4-5 months out. To my surprise, they scheduled it for April 20, 2022.
So oath of citizenship: april 20 2022
Citizenship confirmation form emailed: april 20
Sent email to IRCC scarborough representative on April 21 if my form is good and if certificate has been emailed.
They confirmed on April 22 that form is
good and certificate is mailed.
Certificate mailed: april 27

Official estimate is 2-4 weeks. As per tracker, 'several weeks'.
Real people says (forum/tracker, etc) it is about 3 weeks.

Hello all, quick update. Had my oath last week on 25th April 2022 and got my Citizenship certificate today 3rd May (Total 7 days). Mississuaga office.
I live in GTA. Hope this helps others to get an estimate. Thanks

Hi. I took mine with Niagra April 19th and my tracker still shows in progress even though I requested for urgent processing of certificate. Ecas shows complete yesterday. Did you check ecas status?

I am from Vancouver. Had my Oath on May 9th. File closed on May 13th. Winnipeg was my ceremony office too. Still waiting for the certificate. Think it might take another week...

My office posted exactly 7 days from the date of closed. I dont know what they do for 7 days but they did postmark my mail on 10th even though my account was closed on 3rd.
So give 3-5 days more(depending on distance to your home from cic office) after a week of closure to receive the mail by post.

From Regina SK location. Had my Oath same May 9th, Application closed May 12th and received my May 16th.
Applied for my passport May 19th and I was told at service Canada that my passport will be mailed out May 27th. Fingers crossed I get it by May 31st or first week of June 2022.
