What is the character limit actually? An additional datapoint: my FN + space + MN is a total of 15 chars and no cropping on PR card.

I sent an email yesterday i.e. 9th Jun, 2022. Today, I received a response today stating that I need to surrender the original certificate back to their IRCC Scarborough Office by mail. They will re-issue the certificate with the correct name.

I suggest to include a copy of your CoPR if it contains full name when you are sending signed Oath Affirmation Form by email. This will avoid forth and back.

Its been 3 weeks and haven't received the certificate yet, its hard to get a grip of them on the phone it always says can't connect you with an agent, I emailed them 2 days ago but no reply. Is that normal?

I think you meant they mailed the certificate to you on May 26.
My friend in Saskatoon received his certificate after 1 month, after he spoke to call center agent, who said it was already mailed to him. (In total it took 6 weeks time after his ceremony)
I think the possible delay for my friend was cause his oath ceremony was conducted by Montreal office, and even though call center said it was mailed, it wasn’t mailed.

Wow. My oath was May 27th at Montreal office. Looks like they weren't kidding when they said it could take 4-6 weeks to receive the certificate.

Same here did my oath May 13th until now no certificate yet! I know people who did the oath May 31st and received it last week! Crazy how they handle this piece of shit.

It does not say Application is Closed.
Usually how many days does it take for the application to be closed? Did anyone else got Oath Completed first and then Application Closed a few days after when the citizenship certificate got mailed out?

I've had the oath ceremony back on April 28 in Montreal. I've not received the certificate yet, Almost 6 weeks have passed.
I sent e-mail to CIC-CITOY-CONVO@cic.gc.ca and they replied that my family member's certificates have been mailed out on May 10th.
But never received. How can I get my Canadian citizenship certificate reissued ??
Any suggestion?
