hi,

this is for those who have attended the citizenship ceremony.

1. What is the document you sign on the day in front of the officer at the citizenship ceremony. The officer asks whether you have any criminal records etc and then asks you to sign at two places on document.

I should have read but the line up was long and I just answered the officers questions and followed his instructions and signed at the highlighted sections as told. Should have read. Now I am curios as to what did I sign. It was signature at two places on the same document. Did anyone read and can tell me what are the statements written above those two signature boxes?

2. When you got your citizenship certificates did you get a photograph too in the packet? One of the photographs you submitted with the application?

Thanks in advance for answering.

1. I think it is things like you swear you answered truthfully and to uphold all the responsibilities of being a citizen and swear to be loyal to the Queen, etc...

2. Yes.

thanks for replying.

Ya I guessed it too. One box I am quite sure would have been the no criminal history etc. one. Just wondering what is the other one.

Oh I guess I came up with another question:

Were your guys landing paper stamped etc to say that you have now become a citizen?

The oath letter said it would but the officer was not doing it.

thanks

No, my COPR was not stamped. They looked at it for a few seconds to see if it was the same as the copy I mailed with the original application. Then they gave it back and never asked for it again.
