The wait is definitely tiring. October 16 had the highest number of applicants and now there are only 19 of us waiting for AOR. Everyone else have heard back and at least know where their applications are. I submitted a web form on Monday. Hopefully they can get back to me with some information.

I feel you. As an Oct 16 applicant I felt stressed out before I got AOR yesterday. I felt lucky since I don't have to watch for the AOR anymore, but of course now I started looking for the sign of in processing, which I know it will take a while, and also the speed of my local office. Nevertheless, having AOR means that my application is received and they will work on it eventually, so I hope you and others get it sooner.

Question for Seniors!!!!

Landed on 06-Nov-2013
Your eligibility period is 2012-10-11 to 2017-10-11, you will need this for your application form

Do i need Police Certificate for my Citizenship application the time outside Canada as IRCC had already my Police Certificates when applied for PR?

or Do i need to get it arranged just in case if they asked?

Thanks
You will get mixed answers to that question here. It has been discussed to death.

Here is an official response from IRCC on twitter. Read the comments and decide for yourself.

Police certificates are valid for 6months - 1 year. You will need it if you stayed outside Canada for more than 6 months in elgibility period. It wont matter if you immigrated 3 year ago.

Please update mine in the spreadsheet.
This is the 3rd time requesting the same thing.

Thanks!

To all those who are still waiting on October AOR, my application was signed for on the 17th October and i only got my official acceptance this evening. If you haven't gotten a rejection yet, if the CIC have told your application is lost, jut hang in there, it'll be found, it'll be registered and you will get your AOR. We can't tell them how to work but just believe that if things are correct, things will work out! Good luck to you all.
