As mentioned previously by several other members, there is absolutely no point in calling them before receiving AOR. The call center agents have no information till your file is entered into the system. These agents are not well trained and excel at providing misleading information. You can test it by calling them multiple times and asking the same question. You'll get a different response each time.

I feel like we can say stuff like this until we're blue in the face and still no one will listen

I strongly advise against re-applying in 2017, as the influx of applications with the new rules change must’ve overwhelmed the intake office. There’s a very small chance of an application’s going missing. Reapplying will not only increase average processing time, but also confuse an officer(s). Personally, I’d wait till the end of January. Then I’d inquire via web-form. Then act according to the findings.

Hello, this situation seems to be common. Some members from the 13 Oct batch received their AOR this week. Yours should come soon hopefully!
