HI Guys,

Update on test, found it was easy, 20/20. Just glanced thru Discover Canada book twice. checked Ecas shows DM, awaiting oath letter !! Please update.

It was sent on Dec 12, 2017.
Average of physical presence days of all = 1150-1250 days
I got AOR on my email for all of us same time.

Hamilton Office
I got my notice for writing the test on email May 16 2018.
Wrote test and Passed with wife, 27 June 2018 ! I got 19/20. Test was really not easy to be honest. Read the book folks !!
Decision made next day online 28 June 2018.

Officer told me your oath will be in aprox 2 months because there is a high load. When do I officially get my ceremony oath date letter? is it by mail or email ?

Yay! After requesting urgent processing yesterday, we got our citizenship ceremony invite today. Happy to become a Canadian next Friday (July 6th) in Vancouver. Please update spreadsheet.

Best of luck to everyone else going through the process.

Guys,

My ecas changed few days ago from in process to decision made. So how soon after that do they usually send the oath letter ??

Hello.

Just a quick question
I landed as PR last Jan2015 and never left CA.

What will be my eligibilty period?
Jan2015-Jul2018
or
Jul2013-Jul2018?

follow up question
If my Eligibility period is Jul2013-Jul2018
Should I answer YES on the (question 9c) "Did you live outside Canada during Eligibility Period?"

Thanks Guys!!
GoodLuck to all!

Your eligibility period is always the last 5 years, regardless of where you were. So July 2013 - July 2018.
And yup, you should anwer yes, and fill that additional document even if it probably doesn't apply to you.

Yes. the form does not apply to me. but I will fill that out.
I am planning to apply this month. That's the only thing that confused me. Thanks again for answering my question.

Hi there,
A friend got invitation for two different dates. One for July and another one came last week for August.
Anybody been in this situation before? Should he go for the July one as it's the one on the IRCC status website? Any idea would be appreciated.
Thanks
