I wrote my test almost a month ago and today I received a letter saying that I have to prove that I have enough days for citizenship. for that I have to show entry and exit record from the USA from all my passports. They want me to print a copy of visiting record from the US website and send it to them. Does anyone have any experience or idea, what is this about?

How many days did you travel to the US? I made a lot of US trips too. So I may have to deal with this when I apply.

I know this is asking in advance whilst the citizenship application is still in process however I have some questions about the future steps.

1. How soon after the oath ceremony can someone apply for the Canadian passport?

2. I have seen some forum posts online from the past where it was stated that first time Canadian passport applicants need to go to their local passport office and therefore cannot apply by mail. Is this true? Are there any people here who had their oath ceremony in February or March this year and applied for and successfully received your Canadian passport by mail and was not required to go to your local passport office?

Thanks.

1. You need to wait 2 business days after the ceremony before applying. (So you can apply on the third business day after the ceremony)
2. No, you only need to apply in person if you need your passport in 20 days or less. (See https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...adian-passports/new-adult-passport/apply.html for the instructions on how to apply)

All provinces are finalizing remaining GTA residents .. especially Toronto, Mississauga and Scarborough :confused:o_O:(

Hi @Monmon24 what do you mean by this? Are they now focusing on these areas? You left Brampton...

Dont you see Calgart and Edmonton or Alberta is the fastest processing and then comes few of less populated areas while GTA residents are slower some of then are lucky but not all .. I hope we get lucky

What original documents do we need to carry on the test date?
