Does the test letter comes in home mail or to receive from canada post

Test invite letter comes by normal post by Canadapost only. The basic info like test date is updated on eCAS. The letter is very important as the first thing they ask is invite letter at the time of test/interview. If you do not receive it , contact CIC call number in advance and request to send it again pl.

It depends on your office.
Some offices use email, some use regular mail. You will only get one, so it'll either be email or paper mail, not both.
If you get an email invitation you will have to print the included PDF, so you can bring the printout to check in for your test.

Did you hear anything ?

Nothing at all! I gave up on their stupid processing system. There is another date in March 28th. I was thinking for that, but no luck!!
How about you?

Test in Saskatoon Mar. 13. DM this morning. I have to say the people in the forum is just a small representation of Sask. applicants - I was pleasantly surprised at the large number of people on my test day. So in all fairness, I think Sask is not doing too bad in terms of processing. I am posting this just to calm the nerves of those that are still waiting on their application. As long as your application has no major issues, you will hear something soon. Best of luck to everyone!

I traveled a lot and had ~380 days of exit within the last five years.. what I did was clearly explain all my trips and include travel history such as US I-94 etc.. and a written explanation.

Does anyone here travelled more than 6 months and is being delayed ? .. do much travelling or exceeding the 6 months outside Canada affect the processing by delaying? .. Is there anyone here travelled alot and got fast processing ?

Me too! My version of the test wasn't easy. Some of the questions were vague, and depending on how you interpret them, could make more than one option look true. I did get a perfect score, but I was amazed at the result, because I was sure I got 3 of them wrong. I expressed my amazement to the officer, who just chuckled. No date questions though.

That being said, it is not difficult to pass the test if you read the book multiple times. Majority of the questions were similar to online practice tests, but you absolutely need to read Discover Canada including ALL captions under the pictures. You'd think something is not important, but it can show up on the test.

During the conversation, I told the officer I've been in Canada for over a decade. On hearing that, she said she won't ask me any questions then. Flipped through 3-4 pages of my 2 passports, and didn't bother checking the stamps. Even though I had over 50 stamps ever since I came to Canada.

Said everything looks good. About the oath, she was giving the standard "12 month" response to all candidates.

Well judging by how Scarborough is moving, that's impossible. Unless you get lucky and get scheduled in due to some cancellation. Right now, they're processing July applicants who applied last year for oath. Assuming I get DM soon, I'm expecting oath in 6-8 months, TBH.

only reason im saying this a co worker of mine did her last test last mth or so and got her ceremony 4 weeks later.
