No. You can start worrying after the estimated 12 months processing time is up. Mine went in process Dec 08. Haven't heard anything after that.

Yes, most invites are being sent by email nowadays, from what I've seen on this forum. That's not to say it won't be sent by regular mail, it very well can be.

Well I just moved to a new address that is the point I dont want any letters sent to the old address .. if emails then will be so practical as I can check my emails from anywhere

If that is the case, DM should also be added on same date. How can one get an oath date before DM is made? There has to be a DM assigned somewhere.
But decision is not made yet. If the applicant fails the test or some red flags pop up in the interview, their oath will be postponed.

In cases where oath is scheduled on the same day as the test, it's usually because the applicant lives a significant distance away from the nearest CPC.

Good point. However if that is the case, why don't we all assign a CIC office far away from us so we can all get test/oath same day.

Some people they get test invite earlier than others who had process started much earlier and also from the same location .. date of start of processing seems is not relevant

lol you can try by moving to a remote location. From what I've seen on this forum, Edmonton (and maybe Calgary) seem to be the only CPCs that schedule oath the same day as the test, probably because relatively less number of applicants in Alberta. Someone also mentioned that Mississauga used to do it ? But I haven't seen that.

Decision is not made on e-cas for applicants. They need to pass test first, then only can have oath the same day. If anyone fails test, oath will be re-scheduled. Test, DM, and oath would happen the same day. In spreadsheet, DM date will be updated to test/oath date, after applicants take oath. Probably, those applicants or IRCC can provide you more details.
