I assume, they are slowing down with tons of applications received in Oct.
I applied on Oct 13. No AOR, no single reply, no news from CIC at all. And obviously, my file hasn't been opened yet. That's WOW!!! :-(
Don't really understand their approach! Nonsense!
i am also waiting for AOR. My application was also delivered on 13oct.

Oh Dear Lord! I just figured out I sent in wrong physical presence calculation for my citizenship. I have not yet received AOR. My physical presence days are 1271(mistake one) and forgot to put 56 days trip to my home country on the form.
What should I do?
Wait for AOR and then submit updated calulation form + explanation letter.?
or send form + Explanation right now?
Please advice if somebody is aware of this!
This is just ridiculous mistake I made and I'm devastated ;(

Hey Guys, October applicant here, I got my AOR recently but I need to provide new info to CIC about employment history.
Can you advice how to do so? Has anyone else done the same?
Use the webform for the update.
Good luck

Please Update ....

Status: In Process on Dec. 6
I don't know about which processing office.

Thanks in advance and good luck.

You cannot update until you have the AOR so don’t even try. If you receive an AOR then update immediately. If it’s rejegrrf you’ll need to submit another app.

Thank you for your input.
How about withdrawing my application and then reapply? As I might get full refund too.

You cant withdraw. They have no record of your application if you havent received AOR yet.

AOR means that your application is complete. ECAS is just to see if there are any updates regarding your application.

If its only 2 weeks and if you haven't received AOR then there is no point in updating them as they won't have any information regarding your application so they won't be able to attach that info anywhere.

Go for a vacation without hesitation.

Thanks Guko :)

I just sent them my resume when I sent in my app. I don't know if that is standard as they don't ask for it in the guide, I just gave it just in case. I haven't received my AOR yet though.

So my spouse never got an AoR however eCAS says it was sent on November 23, 2017 together with mine. Today my spouse's eCAS shows a 3rd line saying the same: We sent you correspondence and the book on December 06, 2017, but again my spouse never got an AoR yesterday. Does this mean an AoR is coming via regular mail?

Anyways I hope Sydney has already forwarded our package to a local office and this is just an automatic system to make sure all applicants receive their AoRs.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
