I have a new line in ecas:

We sent you correspondence on December 5, 2017. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required.

I got the same thing. But in my case this line showed up in my ECAS a week after I received the letter and after they had received my response to that letter. They asked for an updated physical presence calculator.

When did you apply?

When did you apply?

App received Oct 16, AOR Nov 7, In process Nov 14.

The letter was dated Nov 21 and was quoting what I did in the webform. I used the webform Nov 8 to change some of my answers in my application.

same here, it's been over 5 weeks since AOR

I assume, they are slowing down with tons of applications received in Oct.
I applied on Oct 13. No AOR, no single reply, no news from CIC at all. And obviously, my file hasn't been opened yet. That's WOW!!! :-(
Don't really understand their approach! Nonsense!

Just check the October spreadsheet and someone @LiveinCanada384 has been invited to write the citizenship test on January 05, 1900. That's almost 118 years ago, lol.

I know. They are really unorganized and seems they have no policy on how they should process the application. Whatever application they like they process it first. They should follow First in First out instead its First in mix out. What a disappointment.

Agree! I really hope, that the late AOR won't slow down the whole process. But right now, I realize, nothing is predictable with CIC...

Yeah lets hope it won't delay the entire process. Btw did you try raising CSI with CIC ??

For October applications, 71% received AOR but only 16% received IP, and specifically for 10/13 deliveries that had received AOR (67 of those), only 27 have got IP
it looks more like the average for October (and after) applications will be at least 6 weeks from AOR to IP - some lucky ones got it in 2 weeks, but most people will be in for a long wait. I am surprised I haven't seen any threads about 'I still haven't got IP a month after AOR, How to contact MP?"
What's IP?

I think I did last time for my PR application. (if I understood correctly what you meant). Right now they have 0 records on my citizenship application as it hasn't been opened yet.
