hi everyone, for child’s personal identification we will use PR cards and MSP card. The address on the MSP is not updated - do you think it matters? (they are asking for an identification with the child's name and date of birth on it) .

if it may cause a problem, which other identification is possible for minors?
the school report doesn't show the date of birth.

thanks!

The person ( Immigration consultant ) who helped me preparing my Citizenship application told me that those who are getting AOR in 2 weeks or less are an indication the application is very easily identifiable for the completeness of the application at preliminary sorting. For example signature missing, Photo specification problem or some other important documents missing. And for this reason the application will only get AOR very quickly but would never get "In Process" until later. I am not agreed or disagreed with him. I will be happy if I get my AOR after a month or so.

People in this forum are receiving rejected applications in the mail before AOR.

Makes no sense. Why would they issue AOR if something is incorrect in the application ? They'll simply return the application.

Hi All

I have below Q for Physical presence calculator
I came to Canada on Feb 2012

"Please only list the periods of time you had authorized temporary resident or protected person status in Canada and the type of status you had between 2012-11-13 and 2015-04-01 and select Add Entry. Select Calculate when you have finished listing all periods of temporary residence."

1) Should I ignore the entry date from Feb 2012 till 13 Nov 2012 , or I should provide entry for that also
2) What does temporary resident permit holder means ? I came here in 2012 ON WORK PERMIT , so what should I select "Temp Worker" ?

Thanks in advance

Work permit is a temporary worker, yes.
Only list Nov 13, 2012 to (day before you became PR), assuming that you had a work permit until the day you became PR.

One more Question @spyfy

I cam canada in feb 201 as worker and till i got PR in 2015 i got 3-4 work permit extension
in section 9b) do I need to fill Status as worker one time or as many times my work permit extended ?
also in this status section Do i need to mention my "permanent resident" status in one row from feb 2015 till the date I am signing the application (or we do not need to fill any row for PR status)

in section 9c) Do I Need to mention all my vacation and my home country visit again which I already filled in physical presence calculator ?

please guide
