Hello, i need to submit PCC as I was out of Canada more than 183 days , my question is do I need to submit PCC along with the application? OR is it ok that I can send my PCC after a month? Because it will take 4 weeks for PCC..pls reply @spyfy
yes it should be with the application

Thanks spyfy.

just dipping my feet in the water.

one more thing about language.

my wife got her english exam at the
Catholic Social Services Immigration and Settlement Services

it

can we use that?

A list of accepted language tests is in the guide
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/CIT0002ETOC.asp

Search for "Language Requirement".

Your Service is not listed as an example, so it's hard to tell.

At the very least the test must explicitly reference the CLB ranking.

please guys i need help.
According to the physical presence calculator my eligibility period is 12/10/2012-12/10/2017 and i came to Canada and become a PR on 15/08/2013. My question is related to the question # 11 in the form
1-Do i have to mention that i was in my home country from 12/10/2012 to 14/08/2013 ,or start from the date of the PR 15/08/2013..??????

Another question i left canada for 120 days ,do i have to mention yes or no in question
9 c) During the eligibility period did you live outside of Canada. if i checked Yes Do i have to fill the Form (CIT 0177).
Thanks

Almost all questions should be answered for the full 'eligibility period', which for you starts from 12/10/2012. So for question 11, you will need to mention what you were doing from 12/10/2012. Question 9(c) is a bit confusing one for other scenarios. However, in your case, I think you will select YES as you were living outside of Canada from 12/10/2012 to 15/08/2013. As such, you will need to fill out the additional form and attach.

On a second thought, I found that I should answer NO. Simple and plain as I had address inside Canada and I explained in the calculator why I was outside for a week. Also, the sentence that I quoted earlier is about (whether I made any trips outside of that country (not Canada))
Provide details of your residence outside Canada during the relevant period immediately before the date of your application. Include trips outside of the country (or countries) of residence and if the purpose was for your work (e.g., business trip, official leave/rest and relaxation) or

for purposes other than for your work (e.g., vacation).

Okk seen.

Cant remember what question that is

You have to mention exact same as it shows on your online calculator.

Basically, eligibility period is: Date you will sign your application - (minus) five years.

Thank You for you kind reply, so do I need to mentioned India address since first two years I was at my home country?

Best Regards

Sorry to interfere here, Please be very sure if you say "Yes". You will have to fill Residence Outside of Canada form if you say Yes. Please read below points before make any decision.

9 (c) YES If you resided outside of Canada because either:

  • you
  • your Canadian citizen or permanent resident spouse or common law partner
  • permanent resident parent
was employed outside Canada (not as a locally engaged person) in or with:

  • the Canadian Armed Forces
  • the federal public administration
  • the public service of a province or territory

So if you are not eligible for above points than you should say "NO".

Do ensure you click Help if you don't understand anything during your form filling.
