For question 10 and 11, if I went to Dubai and lived there for couple of week, then from there went to Pakistan and was there for a week and came back to Dubai and lived there for couple of weeks and then came back in Canada (all that count for approx 60 days), do I have to put all of that and all addresses in Dubai and Pakistan in questions 10 and 11?

Thank you very much.

Do I have to mention any vacation (address) I took during my eligibility period in section 10. a)?
Just the addresses you permanently lived in. Vacations are only included in the physical presence calculator.

Just a heads up:

If you signed your application on October 11th, make sure you were eligible to apply for Citizenship on October 10th (Under the old regulations). At the end of the form it clearly says: You must be eligible to apply for citizenship the day before you sign your application. Sooooooooooo BE CAREFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Technically the law changed on June 19, 2017 when it got Royal Assent but the updated forms were made available on Oct 11, 2017. So anyone signing on Oct. 11 are already eligible the day before provided meet they meet the new requirements.

You either left the country to live somewhere, in which case the answer is yes or, you were on an extended vacation, at which point you need to detail the info in the residency calc.

No, because the sections of the law only came into enforce on Oct 11th. It was an effective date, not just a form change date.

Goto your CRA account and you will see all taxable years. If you landed in 2014 and filed your taxes in 2014, it should have been for 2013 taxable year. But go to your CRA account and it will tell you.
i filed in 2015 for the year 2014. So my years that i filed for are 2014,2015,2016? am i correct.

This issue is now resolved. Please download the form again and you will be able to print it.
Thanks...and this means I have to fill all the info again :(

i posted in other thread. but there are so many threads, dont know where to post.

Hi,
I have questions on CIT0002

Q 9c) During your eligibility period, did you live outside of Canada?
My wife was once in her home country for vacation for 3 months, and I have been out on vacation for 1 month. But doesnt mean "living outside". So the answer to the question in still no I guess. Thoughts from others?

Q 11) Contact for job. Whose contact, phone number and email they did? My manager or colleague will do?

Q 11) employment and education history.
for my wife, she was homemaker. So do I need to fill a row in there? It says no gaps, thats why asking. If I need to fill whose contact should I give?

Q 12) Required to file taxes? For wife who was homemaker, she was still receiving child care benefits, so I believe required to file should be yes. Thoughts?

Hey Guys I have a doubt about question 9 b,
I had my study permit renewed one time(the first time I got it was when I entered Canada), do I need to give individual study permit dates, or I just say I was a student because my status was student throughout till the completion of my degree

I would give individual dates as the section clearly asks for expiry date. putting separately is safer. i will put the renewal date as expiry date for 1st study permit.

Also should I attach a copy of the permits with my application..although they didnt ask for it
