Hi everyone,

I am ready to send the application tomorrow, and have few clarification questions to confirm my understanding/approach. Any input is appreciated.

1. The new checklist does not ask for a confirmation of permanent residence document, neither does it ask for the PR card. I have copied my PR card for the personal identification document requirement. There is no need to submit the copy of the confirmation of PR document, correct? I am also considering including it just in case.

2. Today I was told again by London Drugs and Costco photo labs that they have always been told to put a stamp at the back of one of the pictures. I took 2 stamped and 1 with a clean back side, just in case. I am considering sending all three of them, so that in both scenarios I am covered (both photos stamped vs only one of them stamped). Has anyone confirmed with IRCC by calling them whether they want both photos stamped or one of them? I realize that in the guide it says "photos".

PLZ HELP!!...
1) Paid my fees, got error in loading page. CC charged! Called bank, can't help. Called CIC, you know the answer. Loged in to MyCIC, nothing there! What should I do?
2) Question 11. What address they need? (Employment address?), Contact person? (Manager/HR?)
I have been employed all period and had different employer. What if the person is not there anymore (Can write HR?) (If no email available (Can write N/A?)

does the company you worked have a website? you can take the contacts from there if you don't know anyone anymore who works there

This "living outside Canada question" is beyond frustrating. Because if you tick "yes" you are asked to fill a form that doesn't even apply to your situation. The question should ask "have you lived outside Canada and do you intend to claim those days for residency".

Seriously, IRCC, get your sh*t together.

First time seeing spyfy to swear! Haha. By now it is apprent they rushed it a bit. But thats what we all hoped for: a quick implementation date in Fall and we kind of got it.

Question 10a from the citizenship forms asks you for residences in last 5 years. Do i have to include my vacation trips to back home and to US in the last 5 years?

Hey guys,

Is Canada post Xpress with tracking number considered Courier?

Don't tell me you are the one from Shoppers? lol That idiot worker at Canada post told me that the tracking number with signature is not considered courier but I was sure it was courier because I did it when I sent my PR. Anyway, I was so stupid to listen to someone else and the worker, I put the Box number rather than the courier address

Hi can you please help me with regards Foreign Police Certificate. I am applying now for citizenship. I came here in Canada Feb. 2, 2014, as a permanent resident, my question is am I required submitting Police Clearance even though I never traveled outside Canada. Your reply is highly appreciated, thanks.

please go through the new guides to make sure it clarifies your situation
from my understanding, if you didn't reside in other country for more than 183 days since feb 2014 then no, you don't need any police certificate

No e mail , no receipt also nothing in after log in in CIC for retrieving past payment , surprised what happened. Only bank site says transation pending which takes two day . They cant stop payment. Says talk to vendor.

1. Although it's not required in the checklist, it's still required in the "Gather the documents". You can provide copy of PR card for sure.

2. Both photos should be stamped and show your name.

hey guys,
for the ones with payment issues, let's keep each other updates; i have a screenshot of an error page maybe i'll send that with an explanation; but what would be the point to hurry now and get it returned later or wait 1-2 days and try to pay again
i would try to call but i have the same work schedule as them and no patience to wait 1-2h
if anyone else has more ideas please suggest us

Exact same situation here - very frustrated... I want to make another payment (and dispute the original one), but first of all - the payment application times out every few minutes. Secondly, Ièm afraid they will mess up the dispute and will cancel the second payment amd my application will be returned.
Placed note fewer than 50 calls today to CIC... they just hang up every time!

I haven't. I think spyfy replied to this very well. Simply ask yourself: Did you live there as a worker, student, etc. or you just traveled for pleasure?
