If the eligibility period covers a time before the applicant moved/had status in Canada, do you need to provide information on where you were living etc?

You need to include the information. You don't need the validity period of the student/visitor permits. You only need the dates of when you entered and left Canada.

Thanks for the swift response. The issue is i misplaced the permits and cannot remember the validity period. Do you think the call center might be in possession of this information?

Can someone tell me if I should put my PR Card Number for Q#14 - "Tell us if you have held passports or travel documents during your “eligibility period”.
My PR card is current and valid.

Guys Question 9C. Should we choose Yes or NO. The question is stupid. Yes i lived outside Canada during the eligibility period but the help is saying about Military.

Form CIT 0177 is not for us, right?

I have the exact same question. I stayed with family for 2 months in another country. I do not expect that time to count towards my time in Canada, but Form 0177 has nothing to do with that situation.
