Please advice :

I married overseas and my marriage was only 5 weeks and after 2 weeks later she filed for annulment and I continued in it
She claims that I have health problems and I sent medical reports to her false accusations
I think she has a personality disorder .. we are in the process of annulment which means cancelling the marriage just no results yet ..
I didn't make any papers for her to come and no mention anywhere that I married here
what should I say married or single ?

It depends on you, i would say you just indicate what your current status is which is married, one more thing it is also important that if you have updated your CRA with married status then you should update cic as well

It's nowhere said, that you have to have a valid passport at the moment of application.
But Minimum that you have to do, is to provide an explanation! Without it your application will be sent back to you.

Note: If there are any gaps in time between validity periods of your passports or travel documents during the past six (6) years, or since you became a permanent resident, whichever is more recent, provide an explanation in the space provided in question 6E.

thank you

I guess you are right, although I do qualify to apply asap, I would wait a week, fill out the new forms properly and then send, there can be new requirements in the latest Citizenship forms

Definitely, the most important is to fill everything properly and provide all the required docs. There is a very high risk to make a mistake trying to apply on the same day. As a result, the application might be filed back, causing further delays and money loss.

Yeah, you have to put your name on the back side of both. And same for me - they stamped only one of my two photos.
I got the two stamped and she says my application would be returned

Questions about PCC requirement:

Can someone please clarify these questions about PCC? (Please excuse if these are too silly!)

1) Our eligibility requirement for citizenship is 3 years. So, if a person landed on 11 October 2014, he is eligible tomorrow. Then why PCC is asked from people who were absent more than 183 days in the last 4 years ?
2) So, every one who just completed 3 years need a PCC, which will take more time. Only those who stayed here more than 3.5 years can apply immediately unless they have made the PCC ready. Am I right?
3) How many years were considered to determine PCC requirement before 2015 (before C-24, when it was 3/5 years for citizenship )? Was it 4 years or 3 years?

Thanks in advance :)

She works
Sorry... and who was She?
at staples and kept arguing with me that they have a guide. Also said to write date of birth behind.

I tried showing her the form and she never for once looked at it. Even the day she took it. She didnt look at it. This is staples. Should have gone to walmart.
Doesnt photos mean more than one? Leaves me confused

Thats what i told her because when i renewed my PR it specifically said one of the photo.

Date of birth and name.

This only says name

And both of the photos.

She says if i do whats not requested they will return my application.

I insisted on getting them both stamped though

From the current guide;

"Provide the name of the photographer or the studio, the studio address and the date the photos were taken on the back of the photos"
Link: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/photospecs-cit.asp

The word 'photos' implies on both of them? Otherwise it would read on one of the photos.
