Those who received fingerprint request should also feel lucky! Many people, including me, got Physical Presence Questionnaires which require dozens of supporting documents + FP.

Urban myth says that fingerprint requests are issued when applicants share his/her name or date of birth with someone else.

IMHO there must be some politically more incorrect reasons for this "profiling".

I'm 90% certain this is why I had to do a FP request.

I've always ordered mine under privacy act. There is no reason to request under the information act when they are your own personal records.

Yes, he will be re-invited. If he fails again then they schedule an interview with an immigration officer. (I've no idea what happens in that interview, but you have 2 chances to give the test)

Information Act .. someone here said after 2 months of hearing nothing in process .. I am 4 months in process .. well if you just started in process then its early to order GCMS I guess give some time ..

My application online status is still not "In process". I am just waiting for that. Are you suggesting me that I should order report once I go into " In Process" ?

Hi,
I would like your opinion in something.
My status is DM since March 15th and I'm waiting on the Oath invitation/date. I've just got a tempting job offer from another province. If I accept it, I'll have to be there by June 1st. As far as I know, I can't contact the local IRCC office and get any information on when my Oath date will be.

Any thoughts?

Check cic website for citizenship ceremony in your province, and find the possible location and date for you. You don't have too many choices, should be one of them. I know Montreal, the coming ceromony are April 23 - 10:30AM, and April 25-10AM-AND-2PM. That's my possible coming ceromonies. Find yours.

Just order your GMCS...though they are not very useful...atleast it will make you feel a bit better and possibly give you a little more than you already know...costs 5 bucks and takes exactly 1 month...So do it!

Read and understand Discover Canada atleast 2-3 times. And do practice questions online, but do not rely on them. The questions on the test are phrased differently from online tests, and require understanding of the material to answer.

Buddy, to complete all these tests, you need almost a month. . I am really scared about test. Because i was doing these mock tests and noticed that you need to remember lot of dates and names which is quite difficult. I am not sure how will I pass it.
