Citizenship Applications after Bill C-6

Hi every one , like everybody else im gona apply citizenship on Oct 11, my question is do i have to bring job letter from my employer to send with my application forms?

I have not seen anywhere they ask for that letter. You have to mention whether you were employed or unemployed or under any educational institutions.

Do you guys know why I can not save the application files using the Adobe reader?
Does it mean I have to fill it once and print it right away?

I have a question about language proof. I have a certificate from Vancouver Community College, it was a Court Interpreting course, from October 2011 to June 2012, part time. I was awarded a certificate at the end. I am also a certified court interpreter in Ontario (by the Ministry of Justice), I took the test in Toronto, administered by the Ministry and I have my official interpreter ID with a photo. Are these enough of a proof?

Print old forms to PDF directly for reference. New forms you'll have to fill and print right away assuming those can't be saved either.

I will finish 4 years on 13th October and if I submit my application on 14th Oct. do they still require Police Certificate from Previous Countries I stayed ?

I wanna provide two piece of ID which is Health card, and Driver licence, but problem is I use my friend's address to save the Insurance fees, so my home address is different from the address on driver licence, may I still provide?

What you're doing by providing incorrect address to your insurance company is called misrepresentation which is very close to fraud, although not exactly it.

As I have responded to similar question in another thread, technically I think it is OK to apply October 11 (assuming form and instructions and presence calculator are ALL available in time to do that, noting there is a good chance they will NOT be). I gave my reasons in that post.

But I otherwise think it would be obviously, blatantly foolish to apply on October 11 anyway.

Someone else, in another thread as I recall, observed that he or she was planning to apply on October 11 "like everybody else."

I'd phrase that differently. Perhaps: "like a lot of other fools."

And I'd include those planning to apply October 12th and 13th, as among those foolish enough to not wait a few days, to not wait long enough to be sure the rollout goes smoothly, to not wait long enough to avoid being among the very first applications which total-stranger-bureaucrats are processing in the steepest part of their learning curve (learning and applying new rules and new forms and new instructions).

By giving an incorrect address to save money any claim could be refused.

I was a student in Canada when I got my PR and so I landed by so called "Flag-Poling", i.e. driving to a US border, getting a rejection letter from US officer, and turning back to Canada to land. When entering dates in the online residency calculator, is the flag-polling date considered as being outside Canada? I have 1.5 years buffer on top of the 3 years.

I flagpoled too, and am going to mention it on my application .. because

A3: The calculator uses the following rules to determine the number of days absent for each absence declared:

• When calculating an absence, neither the day you leave Canada nor the day you return is considered an absence. Both are counted as days of physical presence. For example, an absence between July 1, 2013 and July 15, 2013 equals 13 days of absence. As another example, if you leave Canada on July 1, 2013 and return on July 2, 2013, this equals 0 days of absence. You must still declare this as an absence.

Q5: Do I have to declare day trips to the United States?

A5: Yes. List all absences, even if you come back the same day.
