Hi All,

In the citizenship application form there is section where it is asked about

Has a Canadian travel document(passport, certificate of identity or refugee travel document) been issued to you in your current name or any other name?

I am born outside Canada and do not hold any Canadian passport. Applying for citizenship and have the certificate of citizenship

Is it mean the Certificate of citizenship as a travel document? What I should I answer here. Kindly need your help.

Certificate of citizenship or PR card is not a travel document. If you are applying for Canadian citizenshi, the answer would be ‘No’, because you have never held Canadian citizenship.
