Citizenship Application

Hi All,

I had submitted citizenship application for my family in July 2018. In August my application was returned mentioning my wife's application is incomplete due to a missing check mark in the application. They had mentioned that mine, and kids applications are complete. I had resubmitted my application in Sept 2018. In first week of November 2018, my application was returned back mentioning that in the wife's physical presence calculator page Date error. I had resubmitted the entire package with in couple of days.

Its been more than 2 months. Till now there is no communication ? What is the average time for accepting the application ? and how can I follow up ?

It can take a few months to get an Acknowledgement of Receipt. They send this when the office in Sydney has done a completeness check and sent the file to a local office for processing.

APPLYING for CANADIAN CITIZENSHIP
please help me, my question is that my passport(non-Canadian) have expired, and it is impossible for me to renew it, as i don't have any ties back to my country, and I'm not traveling back nor I have time to left to do it online.
is it ok to provide my expired passport of my country on which I got the visa and came to Canada?

Yes, of course it’s allowed! You just need to explain this in the place provided or a short letter.
