Dear Forum Members,

I will be applying for citizenship in the first week of July. While filling out minor and adult form I came across couple of questions and I need some guidance.


Question 9D

Check the box to indicate if there are any gaps in time in the validity period of the child’s passports or travel documents for the relevant period. If there are gaps between the validity of any passports or travel documents, explain why in the space provided.

My kids passports got expired last year and we never renewed the passports, do I need to explain anything about it in response to Question 9D ?


Step 3 – Gather your documents
Submit the following documents with your application:

photocopies of all valid and expired passports or travel documents you had in the past 5 years. If you don’t have these documents or there are gaps in time between travel documents, we will ask for an explanation

I am applying under 3/5 rule and I landed in July 2015, I had one passport which got expired in December 2013. Do I need to include photocopies of the expired passport as well ? if yes then only the bio-pages or all the pages?

Also, do I need to submit photocopies of all the pages of my existing/valid passport or only the bio-page ?

I would really appreciate if someone can guide me.
