Citizenship application will be returned

Hello, I hope someone can answer my question. I already sent my citizenship application and was delivered and that's when I found that I did some mistakes in the application (of course . Can I just send a new application right now instead of just waiting for my application to be returned, just to save some valuable time?!!

I guess if you're 100% sure that your application will be returned. I guess why not.

I forgot to write down my expired passport details, I just sent a photocopy of the expired passport without mentioning it in the table. From what I understand that they need me to write down the details of any passport I had during the last 5 years in the application even if its expired.
But do you know someone that sent a new application before it returned or it is just a guessing? Thanks!
