Citizenship application returned

Hi, I applied for citizenship for my self and my husband on June 17, 2019. We just got our application back today (aug 1) due to my husbands incomplete application. The only thing missing was We missed to put one tick mark. My application was considered completed but they returned it because my husbands application was incompleted.

Can I just put tick mark on returned application and send it back? As it’s only been a month and 15 days since we signed and it’s not been 90 days yet. Do we have to take our pictures taken again? As pictures were taken in January and it’s already been 6 months. Can somebody please help me. Do I have to fill both applications again?

I think you can just check the missing box and return the same application. Didn’t you get a letter explaining rejection and what to do?

If the application will reach before 90 days, you should be fine just filling in the tick mark and re-sending the application. The benefit to re-doing the application and physical presence is that you’ll have a greater buffer of days.
The photos, however, I would recommend you retake them as they’ve technically “expired”. No point in risking your application being returned again for something you can avoid in the first place. Good luck!

On the letter it says missing information. I forgot to check the box for giving CIC authorization to get information from CBSA

On my application there is a letter saying my application considered completed but however as my husbands was incomplete so they returned mine too.

Should we both take new pictures or old ones will work? As it’s already been over 6 months.

can you please let us know how is your returned application returned? is it through canada post delivered to mail box or delivered to the door ?
