Hello All,
I applied to Citizenship last August, I had my PR from 2019 and it was based on Humanitarian & Compassionate ground application, I counted the days before the PR as half days thinking that Approved in Principles is type of temporary residence where they in total 287 days.
My citizenship application went through applied together with my kids and I did the citizenship test and passed then lately I got an interview with an officer, and as he clarified that I'm not eligible for the 1/2 days I counted before the PR for the physical presence. And only days after PR is counted, so I understood I applied couple months earlier.
And now the officer sent a letter indicating that my application will be referred to a Citizenship Judge for review if I can't any evidence about the days I counted before the PR!
So not sure to decide! Is the Judge review and decision process take long? Any idea Or Its better to withdraw the app ASAP and re-apply again as I'm eligible for the physical presence now!
Thanks
