My application was received by CIC on Dec. 7th 2012, I have not received Receipt of Acknowledgement yet ! Do you know the normal time for receiving ROA?

My case is now visible in the e-cas. However, I have not received AOR by mail yet. The following is visible in my e-cas. What does it mean that they have started processing? Does it seem fast?

"We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on December 10, 2012.

We sent you a letter acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on December 11, 2012. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

We started processing your application on February 19, 2013."
 
Applied for grant of Citizenship: July 6, 2012
Acknowlegement Letter with Discover Canada book Sent by CIC: August 7, 2012 (Date on Letter)
Acknowlegement Letter Recieved in Mail: September 10, 2012
Single Application.
file transfered to Scarborough Office: January 7, 2013

very interesting time line..it looks like CIC going thru improving on process..rather than keeping file for a long time in "Received" status changing the file to "In process". Applications submitted since last october with new application forms moving little faster than older applications...
 
NewCanadian! yes, you are right, applications are getting processed little faster but CIC still need a big Jump! :(. what's your processing details?

Can you tell me if we can submit a our canadian citizenship application now, I met 370 days, so still 2 yrs from submitting ? Can you let us know your timelines of application since the time you became Canadian PR ?

Good after noon, here is my time line. But i have a Q because after submitting my citizenship allication, i was away for 7 months for marriage and work purpose. will it affect my application

We sent you a letter acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on October 22, 2012. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

We started processing your application on February 19th, 2013.

Till now i am waiting for my test date, online status shows In process....

And the damn..stirke made the things more worse....only GOD can speed up the process for us:)
